Tas & Mandy walked the Superhero Walk last weekend & it was a fantastic experience. They were joined by several walkers along the way for the scenic walk around the harbour. Thanks to all the wonderful people who supported Smile for Me & donated to the Superhero Walk. We raised over $11 000 which will help provide valuable medicines, supplies & equipment to support the medical mission.
It was a superhero event so both were dressed as Wonder Woman. They were joined by Batman, Buzz Lightyear & Animal Man for the start & then Adrian & Ken representing Smile for Me at the end of the walk.
Tas who was injured prior to the event put in a Superhuman effort to walk the 80km to Bondi. We will be forever grateful for his Superhuman determination to make this happen & get to the end. Mandy loved every minute of the walk & would happily do it again.
Planning is in full swing as we are gearing up ready for March 2024. The Team are very excited to be returning to Cebu. Once again we are forever grateful to Tas for fundraising for us this year. Without the support of kind & generous people like Tas & those who donated we would not be able to do the work we do.
