After a very successful week we are so sad that our week in Cebu is coming to an end. The surgical mission has been an overwhelming success & we are over the moon with how well the week has progressed. We operated on 62 beautiful children & have helped dramatically change their lives.

Many of the families have expressed their deep gratitude for the transformative surgery provided at the mission. We have loved meeting the families & the children. It has made every minute of our time at Perpetual Succour Hospital a pleasure.

As always the mission ran perfectly due to the experienced nurses,  doctors, dental team & ancillary support who have given their time for many years together. It was a special mission given that it was our first as Smile for ME. The legacy of Maureen Eddison (for whom the ME is dedicated to) continues & will continue to grow with Smile for ME.

The missions are a team effort including the wonderful partners that work with us in making the mission a success. We need to thank the American surgeons & their teams for their skillful work in helping to transform these childrens lives. Our ‘Ángels’ also known as our dental team, in conjunction with our Smile for Me dentist are a vital part of the team. Our good frends at AMRO have helped organise the patients & provided much needed support in Cebu.

We would also like to thank the ever obliging staff from Perpetual Succour have worked the long days with the team & never once complained. We are looking forward to a well earned rest & then will start organising next years mission which we are planning for March 2018.
